What a great atmosphere with even better food!!! I was greeted by Fatt Mama and was immediately welcomed in to a warm, homey environment away from the freezing temperatures. I ordered the fried catfish platter with an addition of hush puppies and it was amazing. All served very fresh and hot from the fryer. What an amazing hidden gem in Oshkosh!

After a long walk around Oshkosh, Fatt Mamas was a welcoming oasis. Immediately we felt like we had come home, if home was a place where delicious food exists. My catfish poboy was tender, flaky, amazing sauce. Everything you would want, and would not expect to find in the middle of Wisconsin.

Stumbled upon this little corner of heaven by happenstance, and it was the best thing that could have happened. Every dish was perfectly seasoned - confident, bold flavors without being overpowering. Each bite was memorable, and the seasoning elevated the food rather than masking it. The chef knew exactly how to let flavor lead. Easily the most flavorful meal I've had in a very long time and won't soon forget it.
